Music Streamer: 3rd Party Pandora Radio Player App Reviews

Would like more flexibility in placing screen icons in particular the Widget screen. The Widget flickers/ jumps at inconsistent times. Otherwise it’s much better over the original version.

I love having the keyboard shortcuts to pause, like and unlike. It would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut to offer a quick, temporary view of what’s “Now Playing.”

I listen to Pandora daily with this app and it does just what you need. The keyboard shortcuts are a great help, as is using the standard next and pause buttons on the keyboard. I had a question for the developer and was helped out immediately. This is the best Pandora app in the store.

i am able to log in to pandora but i can not make it past the loading screen. i know i have been sucessfully logged in because pandora “ONE” pops up. after waiting for 2 minutes the notification says , unable to connect to network , which is strange because my login had been authenticated and processed… i would really like to love this application but right now i simply cannot even use it. please help !! o/ btw every other application on my imac works flawlessly, not a single network connection issue.

it’s the best streaming audio on the web. only spotify gives it completion.

the only thing I have to complain is, that the volume after restart is turned to full. The App doesn’t remeber this setting. All othe ris fine and great

Just discovered Pandora a month ago and I quickly went for the monthly subscription but paid for a year. I really love it - great music selection! I would recommend to everyone!

I love the easy and clean interface this Pandora player provides. The App is efficient and runs great in the background. I am very impressed! Thank you very much. :)

The only reason I bought this app was to Stream music from my iMac, Streaming Pandora through AirPlay is only accessible from an iOS device (iPhone, iPod or iPad).

I bought this for the today and widget and should’ve read the reviews first. The album artwork does get off by one. It also doesn’t show the progress correctly. Perhaps it is using the duration of the previous song, like the album artwork. The thumbs up icon is also not visible when album artwork is white. I’d suggest blurring the entire album artwork instead of using the nifty circle approach.

As other reviewers have noted, the album artwork doesn’t match. But I bought the app to listen to Pandora, not look at art work. So it’s only fault for me is having to log in each time.

The only reason why I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is that it is buggy…. (dropped from 4 to 3 stars from original rating 1/20/16 becuase of bugs) PROS: I really like how I do not need to have another browser open to stream Pandora. It is really easy to use and the UI looks nice. CONS: The sidebar widget and smaller version of the dropdown icon in the main toolbar: the album artwork is off by 1 - it shows the previous song but displays info for the current song. This feature only works well when you are in the expanded version of the view that looks like Pandora (which defeats the purpose of the app). The other issue I am having a little over a month later is I have noticed it would start a song (that I happen to like) then will stop after the song has started and pick another. Sometimes it does this a couple times before picking one to play. The app should be free while they work out the bugs instead of us having to pay for it and do the testing for the Engineer.

This app is not ready for prime time use - rather I feel like I’m paying $5 to beta test for someone who doesn’t have much time to get it right but needs the money. I asked for refund and just not the reply “yes I know it’s a problem and I’m working to fix it in the next release”. Besides the artwork issue, everytime the app is launched you have to click on the very small login icon and then type in all your credentials. It never remembers anything and doesn’t even prompt you for the credentials - you just have to figure it why it’s not working each time you launch.

A really great desktop client for Pandora. Hands down! Really easy to use, and runs smoothly in the background. I’m a big fan of the Today View controller, really well-designed!

The player just stops responding after several minutes. The "remember me” feature does not work and requires username and password each time I log back in. Not ready for prime time!

This app skips songs without warning. It plays the first 20ish seconds of each song and then skips to a new song.

The app works fine for the most part . However it seems to start a song and after 15 seconds it moves to another song and plays for 15 seconds and then moves on. It seems to stop at a random song to play.

Works great. Whatever issues existed with album artwork out of sync or song skipping has been resolved. Works flawlessly now. v2.2.0.

Had it for several months now and it was buggy to start, so much so that I started just the stream pandora through safari again . . . that’s over with now thanks to all the time the developer spent ironing it out! He was super responsive to my emails about the issues and it seamlessly runs now, love it! I’m a big Pandora user as I listen to it at work all the time, so the app just fits really well with my workflow, thank you!

The updated version works way better.It’s been visually redesigned but also the app itself works better. One slight malfunction is sometimes the album images don’t update, but it happend only few times. Playback is fluent, no stutter, enjoying music from Pandora as should. UPDATE 04/06/2016 NEW VERSION WORKS PERFECT. DEFINITELY BUY FOR PANDORA LISTENING !!!
