will not connect to network

i am able to log in to pandora but i can not make it past the loading screen. i know i have been sucessfully logged in because pandora “ONE” pops up.
after waiting for 2 minutes the notification says , unable to connect to network , which is strange because my login had been authenticated and processed…
i would really like to love this application but right now i simply cannot even use it.
please help !! o/ btw every other application on my imac works flawlessly, not a single network connection issue.
