Music Streamer: 3rd Party Pandora Radio Player App Reviews

Kinda like it. Was disapointed when I saw the plain web base pandora in the full mode, but widget mode is slick and with all the shortcuts provided, I never have to see the ugly pandora web based view anyway. What I would like is, like I work with 3 screens, have the possibility to move the widget around, in always top mode, and enjoy the album covers where I want. Notifications are a bit small and covers are not big enough.

Ive use Pandora for years, and this is my favorite way to make it sing!

I simply wanted an app for pandora that could run in the background. It does this well, looks, nice but the best thing about this app is the developer. After emailing him about a feature question, he responded imediately and made my enjoyment of how this app works even greater. It’s a pleasure to support a developer like this.

This is a great app. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys jamming at the computer. One less window, keyboard functionality and is it just me or does the quality seem better as well?

I discontinued my XM Radio subscription and listen to Pandora 100% of the time.

Great application. GIves me Pandora all day long without getting in the way.

so far, it is quite freeing from the “desktop app”. The only request I have so far, is to have a white menu bar icon for those of us using the dark menu bar. Keep up the good work!

Great app!!! Worth the money

Lost play/pause control of Pandora on mac keyboard after system upgrade. The music streamer provides a clean and convenient way to not only play Pandora but offers ultimate control when needing to suddenly switch from music to face time with client on Skype. Help with settings was fast and helpful with Zheng responding with accurate and detailed information. In my case, certain settings prevented me from using mac keyboard key F8 for play/pause, had to use F5 or F6.

Two things - one, I don’t have Flash on my computer and make use of Chrome for when I can’t get away with it. I have not really liked having Chrome open just to listen to Pandora, or it as one of my tabs in the middle of other work. Having Music Streamer overcomes both of these issues for me. Secondly, good customer support is a wonderful thing to have in my opinion. Almost as much as a good up. You have a problem, or a suggestion to make, and someone is there to help. Z has really showed up to help with a couple of quesitons that I have had and to try out some new features. All in all I highly recommend this app.

This app makes listening to Pandora so simple on my desktop. I really appreciate the shortcut keys. I use them all the time. Thank you for creating this app Zheng!

I really like this application. It makes it very easy to listen to Pandora without having to use flash. The customer support is extremely response as well!

So I just recently downloaded this to my macbook air and I have to say that the streaming is awesome, however, when I move my mouse over the pandora screen there are white horizontal bars that shoot across the screen, almost like a video that isn’t streaming well. Other than that, the music comes through very clearly and I like it a lot. It’s a lot easier than trying to stream through chrome.

This is perfect! You will get ads, but its well worth it instead of buying pandora one for thier official app. I actually like this one better because u get a UI with more features. GET THIS AND DONT BE AN IDIOT! ITS WORTH IT 100%!

It said very good, but it is not easy to use. I downloaded it, because I have read all the reviews, all the reviews said that its great to use. But the truth is not the case. When I use it, it works slowly and crashed all the time, it need more time to listen a song. And the song what I want to listen I cant find in it, not one, but many songs I cant listenning from it. I am very disappointed with it. Whats more, the keyboard shortcuts dont work, many of them I cant use. I really want to downloaded a pandora radio that I can relax myself when I am busy, but this one give me more stress than before. You guys should do check for updates before uploading. I dont know why others think this one is good, but my real feeling is bad to this pandora radio app. I think it is not worth this price, it trouble me for a long time. So I write a review first time to tell others about this app.

I love Pandora but was sick of having leave a browser tab open to be able to use it. I searched the app store, did my research, read reviews and chose this one and I’m glad I did. Don’t waste your time with other Pandora players, just buy this one and you’ll be happy you did.

Recently became a Pandora user and this is the ticket. I have it auto start when I log in, and unfortuately for me, I do not want it to immedially start playing. I just want it in the Finder bar, ready to go whrn I wnat to start playing music.

I was looking for a standalone app that plays Pandora without having to have a browser open. I mean, if you have 30 windows in Safari or Chrome open, who wants to go digging around for the one that has Pandora? When I found this, I downloaded it immediately and HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK. Use it every day. Love it.

I’ve always justified to myself reasons not to spend x-amount of dollars on things like apps and music streaming, but as soon as I purchased this Music Streamer for Pandora I was so incredibly happy that I did!!! It’s an incredible, simple app that makes my Pandora experience so much more enjoyable and more streamlined. I’m a freelance writer and writing MFA student, and I listen to Pandora constantly while I’m doing all the various kinds of writing work that I do. I use this Music Streamer for Pandora every single day, for many hours a day, and it’s seriously fantastic!!!! Just buy it already!!

I originally gave this about 2 stars because you had to login everytime you ran the program. I traded messages with the developer and they’ve fixed the problem and it is working great. Album art is also current to the song playing. Very easy to use and does just what it is supposed to do.
